Ryan Peirce, MD, named Associate Chief Medical Officer, Wisconsin, for LucidHealth

Former Green Bay Radiology, S.C. practice president to lead clinical strategy of LucidHealth footprint across Wisconsin

Columbus, OH — LucidHealth, a national leader in radiology services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Peirce, MD, as the Associate Chief Medical Officer in Wisconsin. Most recently serving as practice president for Green Bay Radiology, S.C., a LucidHealth practice, Dr. Peirce will play a pivotal role in shaping the clinical vision and the strategic direction of the network’s four physician-led practices across the state.

In this newly established position, Dr. Peirce will provide leadership support for health management, IT network & product development, and business strategy for Beloit Radiology, Green Bay Radiology, S.C., Madison Radiologists, S.C., and Radiology Associates of the Fox Valley, the four practices collectively comprise LucidWisconsin. Serving over 70 hospitals and care sites spanning 150+ miles, LucidWisconsin has grown to one of the largest radiology service providers in the state of Wisconsin. The four practices remain independently led while working collaboratively to ensure the delivery of exceptional radiology services for patients of Wisconsin.

Dr. Peirce’s appointment to Associate Chief Medical Officer, Wisconsin, represents the first of several clinical leadership roles expected to be filled in 2024. Additional leadership roles include key areas of clinical technology, data & AI integration, clinical teleradiology services, and growth & radiologist experience. The Office of the Chief Medical Officer and the Physician Executive Council of LucidHealth were established in 2021 and are currently led by Mark Alfonso, MD.

About Ryan Peirce, MD

Dr. Peirce received fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology from the University of Michigan. He completed medical school followed by his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Chicago in 2006. Joining Green Bay Radiology in 2007, he became president of the practice in 2014, serving in that capacity until early 2024.
