LucidHealth and Rad AI Finalize Partnership Agreement for AI Radiology Solution

Partnership provides LucidHealth radiologists with access to Rad AI Omni Impressions, the only AI solution to improve radiology report dictation and accelerate interpretations

Columbus, OH — LucidHealth, a national leader in radiology services employing over 300 physicians, and Rad AI, the nation’s fastest-growing radiologist-led AI company, have finalized an agreement to provide LucidHealth radiology practices with access to Rad AI Omni Impressions, an AI radiology solution.

The solution’s deployment began with Radiology Associates of the Fox Valley in Neenah, WI, the first practice to utilize the tool earlier this year. Three more LucidHealth practices in the state of Wisconsin are intended to follow, in addition to practices spanning Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Ohio, and Nevada. LucidHealth’s teleradiology service, LucidSolutionsTM, will also incorporate Rad AI Omni Impressions for more than 70 remote-based providers.

“After hearing positive feedback of Omni Impressions from other radiologists and practices, we decided to pilot the solution amongst our team of physicians,” said Marc Miller, MD, president of Radiology Associates of the Fox Valley. “We’re excited to move into the future with leading generative AI capabilities that Rad AI Omni offers. It has already proven to help reduce burnout and improve the efficiency of reporting – a win for both our radiologists and for patient care.”

Rad AI Omni Impressions automatically generates a customized radiology report impression from the findings and clinical indication dictated by the radiologist, using the most advanced neural networks. It learns each radiologist’s language and style preferences from their prior reports to create an impression that the radiologist can simply review and finalize.

In addition, Rad AI improves report accuracy and consistency by automatically including significant incidental findings, answering the main clinical question, and providing the latest consensus guideline recommendations for follow-up. The impression appears in the practice’s voice recognition software as soon as the radiologist finishes dictating the findings, without any clicks, hotkeys, or new windows.

“We believe the future of radiology is empowered, connected, and networked. Our goal is to provide our physicians with the resources they need so they have the time to do what they do best – and that’s care for patients,” said Tom Hasley, Chief Information Officer for LucidHealth. “During the pilot with Radiology Associates of Fox Valley, our team found Omni Impressions gave us the ability to enhance report quality and efficiency while also helping alleviate fatigue during each shift.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled about our partnership with this innovative team,” said Josh Duncan, VP of Sales and Customer Success at Rad AI. “We are hearing from radiologists across the country who greatly appreciate the reduction in fatigue they experience when using Rad AI Omni Impressions. As it’s becoming increasingly more challenging to recruit radiologists, practices are embracing Rad AI Omni not just for efficiency and quality benefits but also as a way to attract and retain talented radiologists. We’re glad all practices within LucidHealth will follow Radiology Associates of the Fox Valley’s lead in providing additional value to their radiologists.”
