Technologists

These imaging protocols provide specific direction to the technologists assisting patients. These protocols should be followed at all facilities where Madison Radiologists are the radiology service provider. Alternative protocols may be substituted at a particular facility based on an agreement between Madison Radiologists and the referring physician(s). For example, an orthopedic surgeon may require additional or alternative radiography protocols. Case-by-case deviations from the protocol (due to a patient’s physical limitations, contrast allergy, etc.) should be reviewed with a radiologist prior to or at the time of the examination.
